IndigoVision Releases HD Camera-based Motion Analytics Print E-mail
Monday, 17 January 2011 10:47

IndigoVision has released an upgrade to its 11000 series High Definition (HD) IP camera range enabling real time motion analytics to run in the camera. This includes the popular Activity Control Framerate (ACF) function that is common to all the company’s IP cameras.

The 11000 HD fixed and HD PTZ IP cameras can now offer both ACF and motion detection analytics. ACF controls the framerate of the camera video stream based on the amount of motion in the scene. When there is no activity, video is streamed over the network at minimum framerate; the instant motion is detected the video is automatically transmitted at the maximum configured framerate. This significantly reduces the bandwidth and NVR storage requirement for cameras monitoring generally static scenes or during quiet periods such as at night.

IndigoVision Releases New Features for Cardax Integration Print E-mail
Thursday, 09 December 2010 10:42

IndigoVision has updated its Cardax integration module to allow video to be viewed within Cardax FT Command Centre, the access control manufacturer’s central management tool. Live video, which is streamed across the IP network, can be viewed by selecting specific camera feeds or in response to an event or alarm.

The video can be used for intercom applications or identification purposes and within the Cardax FT Challenge module. This provides the ability to double-check the identity of cardholders passing through an entry point via visual comparison of a cardholder’s image against a picture from a live IndigoVision video feed.
